Maryland’s only recovery high school, Phoenix Recovery Academy, is now located at 117 East Church Street in downtown Frederick. This nonprofit organization serves those affected by alcoholism and drug addiction. The Phoenix Recovery Academy is dedicated to providing a learning environment for adolescents that is focused on academics, as well as recovery support for teens entering the recovery lifestyle.

The Phoenix Recovery Academy Project has truly been an example of collaboration between the Ausherman Family Foundation and Ausherman Properties. The Foundation provided funding for the building, furnishings, construction items needed to bring the building up to code. Ausherman Properties offered their expertise and resources to ensure the venue is compliant, assisted in permitting, requirements, and more. Through their assistance, this project moved along quickly and efficiently. The building is owned by Ausherman and leased the to the school for $100 per month.

Congratulations on the grand opening!
