Maryland’s only recovery high school, The Phoenix Foundation of Maryland, is now located at 117 East Church Street in downtown Frederick. This nonprofit organization serves those affected by alcoholism and drug addiction. The Phoenix Foundation of Maryland is dedicated to providing a learning environment for adolescents that is focused on academics, as well as recovery support for teens entering the recovery lifestyle.
