Boys & Girls Club Receives Funding For Afterschool Programs

Ausherman Family Foundation recently presented the Boys & Girls Club of Frederick County with a $25,000 General Grant for Afterschool Programs promoting health, social, educational, vocational, character and leadership development. The programs provide a safe, enriching place for students to do their homework, engage in activities, and have a warm meal.

Participating elementary schools include Lincoln, North Frederick, Parkview, Ballenger Creek, and Orchard Grove. Programs include STEM, SMART Girls, Passport to Manhood, and Healthy Habits.
