Ann Ryan, Multi Year Grants Committee Advisor

Ann Ryan recently retired after a career in human service program development.

Over the course of her career she has served as a Peace Corps  Volunteer in Senegal, West Africa; a Legislative Assistant to Congressman Berkeley Bedell in Washington, D.C.; the Director of New Endeavors by Women in Washington, D.C.; the Director of Advocates for Homeless Families in Frederick, MD; and most recently, the Director of Family Services for the Housing Authority of the City of Frederick.

Ann holds a bachelors degree in Social Work from Bowling Green State University and a masters degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University.

She is currently working with the Frederick Housing Solutions Task Force to increase deeply affordable housing in Frederick for those most in need.

Ann is married to Paul Tooley and they live in Braddock Heights. They have two grown children.
