On June 9, 2026, at Frederick Community College’s JBK Theater nonprofit professionals (aka superheroes!) met for the 2026 Frederick Nonprofit Summit, featuring the Nonprofit Leadership Lab: Because the World is Counting on Us!

In this challenging time for the country – and the nonprofit sector specifically – Glennda Testone, CEO of the Nonprofit Leadership Lab shared the 10 approaches that nonprofit leaders are using right now to thrive. These tips and tools are gleaned from direct experience with hundreds of nonprofit organizations and their leaders. Her presentation was told with humor, heart and hope, each audience member walked away with something practical and inspiring to take back to their life and work. Following Glennda’s presentation there was be fireside chat, with key leaders including Michelle Nusum-Smith, Scott McCaskill, Peter Brehm, and Ron Cramer who shared their insights.
