Multi-Year Grant Strengthens Heartly House Services

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness and reaffirm the importance of supporting survivors in our community. Through a Multi-Year Grant from the Ausherman Family Foundation, Heartly House is entering its fourth year of expanding its Community Based Services. This initiative provides survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and child abuse with comprehensive support, including access to safe housing, legal advocacy, transportation, mental health care, and other critical resources.

To ensure services are accessible throughout Frederick, Heartly House Case Managers are available at several satellite locations, including Waverly Elementary School, the Housing Authority, Platoon 22 Veteran’s Service Center, Mount St. Mary’s College, and the Seton Center in Emmitsburg. These professionals deliver trauma-informed case management and advocacy, helping survivors navigate available resources and build pathways toward safety and stability. For more information or to access support, individuals can call the 24/7 confidential hotline at 301-662-8800.
